IDENTITY PROPOSAL: LONG TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN

The Long Term Care Ombudsman program volunteers, investigate, advocate, support and educate the residents in long term care facilities about their rights. They ensure the safety of the residents and even provide hope for them. This identity proposal is based on the idea of a blossoming heart. Like a flower, the leaves, or sepals protect the flower before it blooms. Similar to an Ombudsman whose duty is to protect the health, safety, welfare and rights of the residents. This logo is also enclosed in a circle to emphasize the “O” in Ombudsman. It also represents nurturing and creating a safe space for residents to blossom, or open up and gain the trust of the Ombudsman.
